The Wedge vineyard is a block located in the Big Valley area of Lake County, along Kelsey Creek where the soils are moderate in vigor with a high gravel content from their proximity to the creek. The climate is moderate with great diurnal temperature swings. The vineyard was planted in 2007 with Dijon 96 and Robert Young Clone 17 and is organically farmed by David Weiss.
